Bimtomet Eye Drops contain Bimatoprost, a prostaglandin analogue used to reduce intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Lowering IOP helps to prevent optic nerve damage and vision loss.

Bimatoprost increases the outflow of aqueous humor from the eyes, thereby reducing pressure inside the eye. It may also be used cosmetically to enhance eyelash growth (under the brand name Latisse), but this use should be under medical supervision.
